If you are contacting us regarding having not received your CPCS or CISRS card, please be assured that NOCN staff, external teams and a new supplier have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to resume card production. Printing resumed on 14th September and we are working through the backlog of cards.

Blue CPCS Competence Cards – More than 10 Categories Card Tap

In cases where individuals hold more than 10 categories, the new card will display nine printed categories on the reverse side, with the 10th row stating: "To See Additional Categories, Tap Card."

New Construction Employer Trustees for NOCN Job Cards Board

NOCN Job Cards recently announced two new additions who will strengthen the number of construction industry employers on their Board of Trustees:

  • Tim Brownbridge, Academy Manager, BAM Nuttall Limited
  • Paul Allman, Executive Director, Flannery Plant Hire Limited

As a charity, NOCN Job Cards is governed by a board of trustees, who support the management team to run the organisation according to its vision and values.

Drawing on a vast bank of construction plant and civil engineering experience and skills, the trustees have ultimate control to ensure that NOCN Job Cards achieves their aims and objectives, act within the law and manage our resources properly. The trustees make the vital decisions which build the charity, to advance personal outcomes, improve the flow of talent to the construction industry and boost the national economy.

Tim Brownbridge Eng Tech, FICE ASET

Tim is Academy Manager in BAM Nuttall Ltd, the UK’s biggest specialist Civil Engineering Contractor, his responsibilities include managing, developing and delivering training, competence recognition and qualifications programmes to all who work for the company.

He is a lifelong member of the construction industry, initially spending 8 years as a plant operator. He then spent 15 years in site supervision and management on major building and civil engineering projects before moving into training and qualifications in 2002. Tim has contributed to the development of industry standards through National Working Groups, Card Schemes and forums as a representative of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association.

In 2011 Tim qualified as an Engineering Technician and in 2013 became a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, recognising his contribution to both industry and the profession. He is currently Chair of the employer development group for the Groundworker Apprenticeship and Vice Chair of the CPCS Management Committee.

Paul Allman

Paul Allman is a Director of P. Flannery Plant Hire, one of the leading plant hire suppliers into the UK construction sector.
He has worked in the plant hire sector for over 25 years, with over 15 years in a senior management role where he has been directly responsible for managing teams delivering plant hire solutions to major projects and clients throughout the UK.

This has included the development of an industry-leading training facility, actively promoting the development of machine control technology, working with colleges and schools to promote the construction sector as an employment opportunity and recruiting and training a significant number of plant operator apprentices and new entrants onto the sector. Paul is also a council member of the Construction Plant-hire Association.
