NOCN Operative Health, Safety and Environment Test

The NOCN Operative Health, Safety and Environment Test is a requirement for CPCS Cards and CISRS Cards.

The test has been designed to support learners to improve their knowledge and gain an in-depth understanding of issues surrounding health, safety and environment within construction. The learning materials and test are available to purchase through the NOCN Group Hub.

The operator can learn and take their test at a time and location that suits them. There is no need for them to travel to a test centre, it can be done in their own home! The result of the test will be available on the candidate record and viewable on the NOCN Job Cards online Card Checker.

Booking your test online is a quick and easy way to secure your CPCS Plant Operator Card or CISRS Card. To ensure an optimal testing experience, please take the test on a laptop or desktop PC using Google Chrome or Firefox. We suggest avoiding iMacs or mobile devices.

For individuals with other CSCS trade cards, the CITB Health, Safety, and Environment test at the appropriate level is mandatory. NOCN Job Cards will continue to acknowledge this test.

A61 Appointed Person and A62 Crane Supervisor candidates still need to attend a Pearson Vue test centre to complete the MAP health and safety test and the specialist supervisor (spec-sup).
