CPCS Digital Logbook

NOCN Group has launched a new Digital Logbook as part of its drive to continuously improve and future-proof the CPCS Card application/renewal process.

The CPCS Logbook is an essential tool designed to record plant operatives’ life-long learning & development, activities, testing, training and employment. It is used as evidence towards the renewal of the CPCS Blue Competent Operator Card and CPCS Tester Card. It can also be used by CPCS Red Trained Operator Card holders to record and showcase their skills and experience to employers.

The new, fully digital version of the former paper-based logbook has a number of key benefits for operatives, employers, training providers, testers, and wider stakeholders, including:

• More efficient, cost effective, accurate, comprehensive, and environmentally-friendly;
• Convenience of being able to log activity on a mobile device while on-site or anywhere else;
• Ease of access to everything in one place, organised and securely backed up;
• Ability to export logged hours and activity to demonstrate previous experience and skills;
• Option to use the logbook as a timesheet for completed jobs.

The NOCN CPCS team and employers have easy access to check that operators have met the minimum 300 hour requirement for each category/ies held, making the renewal process quicker and easier for all involved.

Transitioning to the Digital Logbook is simple via operatives’ existing online login or by registering online.
